Required photo set

Show the whole installation clearly.

Submit high-resolution photographs taken from a direct, full view of the door. Your entry must include both operating positions below.

  • At least one photograph with the door fully closed
  • At least one photograph with the door opened approximately 45 degrees
  • A full, direct view rather than a tight detail or angled crop
  • Items arranged on the bookcase shelves
  • High-resolution image files suitable for judging
Helpful tip: Clear the area, turn on the room lights, keep the camera level, and make sure the entire door and trim are visible.

Photo contest FAQ

Can I enter more than one hidden door?

Yes. A customer may enter more than one door, but each door should have its own entry. Multiple entries for the same door are not allowed.

Can a photograph from a previous contest be entered again?

A previous non-winning photograph is welcome to enter again. An entry that previously won is not eligible to win again.

What photographs are required?

Submit high-resolution, direct full-view photographs, including at least one with the door closed and at least one with the door opened approximately 45 degrees. Items must be displayed on the shelves.

How do I enter the short-video category?

Email the short video to customerservice@hideawaydoors.com. The video category has a stated $100 prize.

How may submitted photographs be used?

Hide-A-Way Doors reserves the right to advertise submitted photographs. Submitted images cannot be copyrighted by another party, and personal information will not be shared.
