Cleanest profileSlab Cabinet Door
A smooth, flat door without raised, recessed, or contoured detailing. Slab doors create the simplest visual treatment and are easy to integrate into modern rooms.

Add upper cabinet doors, lower cabinet doors, or both—then choose a profile that makes your hidden bookcase feel modern, traditional, architectural, or completely custom.

Every cabinet door is made in our shop to coordinate with the hidden door's dimensions, wood selection, and finish. Cabinet doors are optional additions selected when configuring the bookcase door—not replacement entry doors.
Start with the architecture of the room. Slab and Shaker suit cleaner interiors; profiled Flat Panel and Raised Panel styles add traditional detail; Mirror doors create a decorative reflective surface.

Subtle profileA flat center panel surrounded by a framed edge with decorative profiling on both sides. It offers more definition than Shaker without the depth of a raised center panel.
Most versatileA flat center panel surrounded by clean square rails and stiles with no decorative profiling. Shaker styling bridges modern, farmhouse, and traditional interiors.
Traditional detailA contoured center panel rises toward the surrounding frame, adding depth, shadow lines, and a furniture-grade traditional appearance.
Reflective accentMirrored cabinet fronts replace the visual weight of wood panels with a reflective surface that can brighten the bookcase and coordinate with surrounding décor.
Custom requestAn arched upper frame softens the straight lines of the bookcase and creates a more formal, custom-furniture appearance.
Profile details become more visible after painting or staining. Consider the cabinet doors together with the bookcase trim, wood species, and surrounding cabinetry.
Choose Slab for the flattest face or Shaker for simple structure without decorative profiling.
Choose Flat Panel for restrained detail, Raised Panel for dimension, or Arched Top for a custom architectural feature.
Choose Mirror cabinet doors when you want the fronts to reflect light and behave as a decorative element.
Standard cabinet-door options appear as add-ons on eligible product order forms. Select upper doors, lower doors, or the available set that matches your design. Arched Top doors require direct confirmation before ordering.
Shop Hidden Bookcase DoorsCabinet doors are optional add-ons. Select them on the eligible hidden-door order form when you want enclosed upper shelving, lower shelving, or both.
Both use a flat recessed center panel. Shaker has square, plain framing without profiling; Flat Panel includes decorative edge profiles around the frame for a more detailed appearance.
A Slab door is a single flat face without a framed or recessed center. Flat Panel has a distinct outer frame, decorative edge treatment, and flat recessed center panel.
Arched Top is not a standard checkout option. Contact Hide-A-Way Doors before ordering so the design and availability can be confirmed.
